Sex and Our Society

As a professional in the Adult Product Business, one of my biggest WTF? moments is when a potential new consultant or hostess says to me that they can not join the company or host because of what someone else might think of them for doing it...

When I get the "My So and So wont like it" or the "Oh I could NEVER sell that kind of stuff" response- I have to say... Why Not? Do you truly have any idea of what we do? Do you know how many people we truly help every single day and how many lives we change?

Why do we do what we do and how do we enhance society by doing it?

• We make marriages healthy again. (If you have read my last blog this one will be a no brainer- if not... I suggest you do. It may change your view!) Our consultants and products can help couples reopen the lines of communication, establish a strong line of trust, relieve money problems, prevent infidelity, and enhance their sex lives.
• SEX IS GOOD FOR YOU!!! It provides a healthy relief for stress, it tones and strengthens the muscles, cleanses the skin, relieves headaches (I have a headache is not a good excuse anymore! LOL), and it makes you happy.
• We provide a safe and healthy atmosphere for couples and healthy singles to purchase products without feeling like they are doing something wrong or shameful.
• We have so much fun and make lifelong friends!
• We are all curious about sex and want to know that we are not the only ones that have certain desires, wants and preferences. These parties help us learn how "Normal" we all are!
• We provide a safe place to ask questions. We all have doubts and concerns about our bodies and our sexuallity. As consultants, we have generally heard it all! By taking orders in a private environment, we allow someone to ask the questions they would never have the "guts" to ask a friend or even their doctor sometimes! We can help them step out of their comfort zone and really enjoy sex again without feeling like a "Freak"!
• We provide Education! The one thing I hear the most is that my guests learned something! Whether they had no idea where their G-Spot was, they didn't know what a P-Spot (prostate) was or why they should massage it, or thought anal sex would be messy or hurt! I know my guests leave my parties with a new confidence and renewed interest in sex!
• Last of all...None of us would be here if it wasn't for sex! Our bodies were built for it and our main goal in life is to eat, sleep, and make babies! How would we repopulate the earth if we didn't have sex?

What reasons for not doing what we do are there? Only two that I can think of...

• Society. We have painted a "shameful" and "negative" picture of sex that most other societies have not.
• Religion. Some have chosen to make religion a reason for us to no longer enjoy sex. If our religion does not allow us to have or enjoy sex, how can that religion continue to exist? There would be no more members if we did not continue to make them! LOL

We have come to think of sex as something to hide instead of something powerful and natural! Sex gives us each a way to express ourselves to our lover and connect in an emotional way that no other activity can! Sex is the most basic of human needs and is something that we have been programed to do.

If we were not supposed to have or enjoy sex... Why does it feel so good when we do???
